GREEN INDUSTRY

FUNDED TRAINING

Through a 12 month incubator and mentorship program, Green Industry Funded Training will empower those disproportionately targeted by the war on drugs to start & operate a legal cannabis business in Massachusetts.

The solution to equity and inclusion in the cannabis industry is here.

G.I.F.T. provides education, mentorship, and funding to veterans, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, women, and other disadvantaged groups to support the launch and operation of their cannabis businesses. Students are guided through the application process and are provided support with legal matters, acquiring real estate, standard of operations, and other major milestones. After students graduate from G.I.F.T., they return to provide mentorship and funding, thereby paying it forward and supporting the launch of future entities that emerge from the program.

With the help of G.I.F.T.'s team and the program's mentor Revolutionary Clinics, the first economic empowerment business in Massachusetts to obtain its recreational and medical cannabis licenses - Alchemy League - will open in Holyoke, MA this summer. A variety of CBD-infused wellness and edible products launched through G.I.F.T.'s Pilot Program will be sold in Alchemy League's store as well.
Alchemy League will provide high-quality cannabis products and a genuine customer experience, with warm, knowledgeable staff that leave customers feeling uplifted and educated.

With diversity & inclusion being a priority, the team and partners include veterans, the elderly, minorities, and those who are differently abled.

The dispensary will also offer a program called “The Miseducation of Cannabis,” in-person and online education providing support to those struggling with addiction and pain management.

Social equity legislation and programming are vital as the cannabis industry marches towards federal legalization and increased state legalization in order to create opportunities for Black, Latin, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander and other people of color who face economic marginalization and have been most profoundly impacted by the failed drug war.
